This, combined with the added size and stability, allows the Acadia to tow up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. For this model, GMC wanted the Acadia to take on more of a truck-like persona with a luxury feel, and the brand achieved it. The Acadia's suspension has been retuned for the AT4 model, providing better rebound control. Selectable drive modes, including Terrain Mode and Hill Descent Control, put the power in the driver's hands.
Drivers who want a more rugged experience will love the Acadia AT4 trim. Active Torque Control AWD is exclusive to the Acadia AT4, giving it premium off-road capability. The AT4 model is also one inch taller, with a wider track and 18-inch all-terrain tires, to deliver better clearance and grip on the trail. The Acadia’s suspension has been retuned for the AT4 model, providing better rebound control and selectable drive modes, including Terrain mode and Hill Descent Control puts the power in the driver’s hands.
